1. Agreeing to these terms

By using ricepuritytestportal.com (the "site"), you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the site. We'd be sad, but we'd understand.

2. For entertainment only

Everything on this site (the Rice Purity Test, the other quizzes, scores, results and blog posts) is for entertainment only. It isn't psychological, medical, legal or any other kind of professional advice, and it isn't a measure of anyone's worth, character or behavior. Please don't make real-life decisions based on a quiz result.

3. Not affiliated with Rice University

This site is an unofficial fan project. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Rice University.

4. Who can use the site

The site is meant for a general audience. If you're under 13, please use the site with a parent or guardian's permission. If you're under the age of majority where you live, make sure a parent or guardian is okay with these terms.

5. Be decent

When you use the site or share results from it, please don't:

• use results to bully, pressure or embarrass anyone (sharing a score is always optional);
• try to break, overload, scrape at scale or hack the site;
• copy our content and pass it off as your own, or republish it commercially.

6. Our content

The quiz questions, results, articles, design, logo and mascot are ours and are protected by copyright and other laws. You're welcome to share links, screenshots of your results and the downloadable result card for personal, non-commercial use. For anything else, ask us first.

7. Links, ads and other sites

The site may link to other websites and may show ads from third parties. We don't control those sites or ads and aren't responsible for their content or practices.

8. No warranties

We work hard to keep the site fun and working, but it's provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind. We don't promise it'll always be online, error-free or accurate (it's a comedy quiz, after all).

9. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, we aren't liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from your use of the site. Nothing in these terms limits any rights you have under consumer protection laws that can't be waived.

10. Privacy

How we handle data is explained in our privacy policy. Short version: your quiz answers never leave your device.

11. Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. When we do, we'll change the "last updated" date above. If you keep using the site after an update, that means you accept the new terms.
